The X-Men: Apocalypse has released a full trailer:
Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Jennifer Lawrence is poised to trade in Katniss’ bow and arrow for a pistol in her next role as real-life “Jane Bond” Marita Lorenz.
The Golden Globe winner’s new project is “Marita,” a pitch from “American Hustle” writer Eric Warren Singer about Marita Lorenz, a German-born American woman who cozied up to some of the most famous dictators of the 20th century. Lawrence will produce the romance spy drama with Matt Tolmach, Scott Mednick and Andre Rouleau.
Lorenz began an affair with Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro at the age of 19, became pregnant with his child and left the country after she had an abortion. She later joined forces with anti-communist groups in the United States, where she was recruited by the CIA to assassinate Castro.
As the story goes, Lorenz returned to Cuba in 1960 to kill Castro using poison pills, but instead revealed the assassination plot and declared her love for the leader.
Lorenz later had an affair with a Venezuelan dictator and claimed to be involved in the JFK assassination. Her account was later refuted, however, earning her the title of “a patron saint of conspiracy buffs.”
“Marita” represents a departure from JLaw’s American sweetheart types, so we’re anxious to see if she continues her hot streak all the way to Havana.
Paramount Pictures said this morning that Jennifer Lawrence indeed will star in an untitled film directed by Darren Aronofsky. Scott Franklin and Ari Handel of Protozoa will produce the pic, about a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence. The studio is eyeing a 2017 release.
News of this pic first broke back in October when newly minted Golden Globes winner Lawrence exited The Rosie Project, the Richard Linklater film from Sony based on the Graeme Simison novel.
Jennifer Lawrence is the cover Feature of February issue of Glamour Magazine, the issue is now available for digital download and it’ll be on newsstands next Tuesday, January 12th. Be sure to pick up your copy. Here are scans and the shoot.
