- [x001] Movies: The Hunger Games – Production Stills
There’s another new still of Jennifer in “The Hunger Games”! I also replaced the other one with a better quality version. Can’t wait for more Katniss!
I added in the gallery HD captures of Jennifer in “Like Crazy”. Not too much of her in this first trailer but I hope we’ll get a better look soon. I also added posters of the film. The official “Like Crazy” site is up and you can check it here.
Will post captures of the trailer later today, for now enjoy 🙂
Also we have some updates on The Silver Linings Playbook:
David O. Russell will round up an impressive cast to star in his next feature, an adaptation of The Silver Linings Playbook. The details of who this will be exactly are still murky. Mark Wahlberg was ready to make this his fourth collaboration with Russell, but a delay in production created a scheduling conflict. Deadline believes Wahlberg is dropping out because of his commitment to Broken City.
On the positive side, the report confirms Jennifer Lawrence for the female lead — she reportedly beat out Elizabeth Banks, Kirsten Dunst, Blake Lively, Rooney Mara, Rachel McAdams, Andrea Riseborough, and Olivia Wilde for the sought-after role. In fact, it was Lawrence’s need to shoot The Hunger Games that delayed the schedule beyond Wahlberg’s availability. Bradley Cooper is resuming talks for the now-vacant role after he attached with Anne Hathaway in the early stages of development. New to the Playbook is Robert De Niro, in negotiations for a role that would the actor reunite with his Limitless co-star (and his would-be Uncharted director). There is no update on Angelina Jolie’s potential involvement with the project, so I wouldn’t count on it.
Entertainment Weekly released the first official stills of “The Hunger Games”, and we are lucky enough to have one with Jennifer! The photo shows Katniss Everdeen and Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) in the forest:
I updated the gallery with some photos of Jennifer in “The Beaver” including some brand new stills, a poster and a pic from behind the scenes:
Yahoo revealed the new motion poster, which features Katniss’ iconic mockingjay pin materializing out of fire. It’s pretty cool to watch, though it doesn’t show us anything new yet. I also like the little bit of music they used for it.
Ever since Lionsgate announced their plans to do a big budget, big screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ “Hunger Games” trilogy, fans and media alike have parsed every decision, from the casting choices (Jennifer Lawrence! Josh Hutcherson! Lenny Kravitz?) down to the font used to print the screenplay (we lean towards Helvetica). But one area that hasn’t really been touched on yet is music.
Well, until now, that is.
Add the soundtrack to the topic of discussion, because the folks at Echo Mountain Recording have posted some info a recording session there — one that involved both Lawrence and producing superstar T. Bone Burnett.
Here’s the dilly: Echo Mountain Recording is a studio located in Asheville, North Carolina, where “The Hunger Games’ is currently filming. And that made it the perfect place for Burnett to work on the music for the film, which apparently involved singing from Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) herself.
“T. Bone brought actress Jennifer Lawrence in to sing a haunting song he had written. The day they came in was the first day of shooting for the film but T. Bone had been working on the music for some time,” the post from Echo Mountain read in part. “If the music is any indication of how the movie is going to turn out, it’s going to be fantastic.”
So just what exactly were Burnett and Lawrence working on? Well, Echo Mountain isn’t saying, but given that it involved Lawrence singing “a haunting song,” we think it may have been the moving lullaby Katniss sings to Rue (Amandla Stenberg) as Rue lays dying.
Whatever they were recording, one thing is certain: it sounds like music to our ears.

I keep filling the gallery with missing pics. This time I updated the movie section:
Jennifer did various interviews to promote “X-Men: First Class” last month. So as I had some free time I capped some of them and uploaded caps in gallery:
I updated the gallery with some photos of Jennifer in “X-Men: First Class” and “The Hunger Games”.
I also updated the gallery with more photos of Jennifer related to her latest projects. I added some more stills and a poster of her in “X-Men: First Class” and updated some ones with HQ versions. Also added the first promotional photo of her from “House at the End of the Street”:
Jennifer spotted yesterday to the set of “The Hunger Games” in Shelby, North Carolina wearing a simply light blue dress. She recently quoted about her role in the film:
“Listen, I know from the bottom of my heart that I love Katniss. I love her. It’s kind of like when you have a huge crush on somebody, and it’s almost scary because you don’t want to mess it up and have it not be everything you hope it will be. That’s exactly what I feel about this. I’m terrified. Is it going to be good enough? Am I going to be good enough?”
I found some brand new still of Jennifer in “The Beaver”. She looks awesome. I hope we’ll get some more soon.
I made some small updates in the gallery adding a new poster of X-Men: First Class and a couple extra outtakes of Jennifer’s photoshoots:
