Jennifer Lawrence gets shy in front of the opposite sex.

The X-Men beauty, 20, hates taking part in love scenes – but only because she is worried her on-screen partner will think she wants to take things further off-screen too.

“It’s all pretty technical but I don’t look forward to them,” she says. “I don’t like kissing in rehearsals either because I worry that they’ll think that I like them in that way in real life. Saying all of that I would rather do a kissing scene than a full on sex scene.”

Lawrence recently insisted she grew up well-behaved.

“I didn’t sneak out or drink. Once I told my parents to ground me because I was going to a party with alcohol. It’s kind of disgusting,” she said.

“I have fun when I go out—I mean, who wouldn’t have fun with me?

“Sometimes I get anxiety about not staying up late enough. I’m not the one in the corner, but if anyone was like, ‘I want to go home and watch The Big Lebowski,’ I’d be right there with my hand up.

“I’m not proud of it.”
