Young Stars who will stick around

The Toronto Sun has an article on the young stars who will defiantly stick around like the famous actors and actresses;  Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Jesse Eisenberg, Chris Hemsworth and Mila Kunis, Rooney Mara and Amanda Seyfried. Jennifer is actually top on their list!

JENNIFER LAWRENCE, 21: Born in Louisville, Kentucky, August 15, 1990. Thanks to her stunning performance as the Ozarks girl with all the guts in Winter’s Bone, Lawrence earned more award citations for a single film than many actors do for a career. Her Oscar nomination as best actress was among the honours and it won’t be her last dance at that ball. After her breakout, Lawrence scored in the ensemble of X-Men: First Class and busted out even bigger as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games. Sexy, smart, attractive, skilled and absurdly savvy for her age, Lawrence will not only survive Hollywood, she will thrive.

You can read the full article when you click source and read who else made it onto Toronto Sun’s list.

Willow Shields on Jennifer Lawrence

At this years Comic Con, held in San Diego, Willow Shields took some time to chat about her experiences on the Hunger Games set and what it was like filming with Jennifer. Read the extract below.

THR: How much of a family were you and Jennifer Lawrence when you were off camera? Was the sister relationship kind of the same when you weren’t filming?

Shields: Yeah, we were both like sisters on set. We were so close. It was so hot outside that we would be drinking so much water, and if there wasn’t enough water bottles around, we’d be drinking out of the same water bottle – that’s how close me and Jennifer were.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay gets release dates

Jennifer’s movie The Hunger Games final movie, Mockingjay will be released in two parts and Lionsgate has released the release dates.

According to film studio Lionsgate, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will be released in November 2014, with Part 2 to follow 12 months later.

The film franchise is based on the teen science-fiction books by Suzanne Collins.

The first movie, starring Jennifer Lawrence, smashed box office records when it was released in March.

It has now taken $678 million (£436m) worldwide and is currently the year’s second highest-grossing film in the US, behind The Avengers.

Lawrence plays rebel heroine Katniss Everdeen, who is trained to fight to the death in televised competitions in a future US society called Panem.

The second instalment. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, is due in cinemas in November 2013 and will be directed by Francis Lawrence of I Am Legend fame.
