Jennifer Lawrence is only 22, but she has already been nominated for a best actress Academy Award, for Winter’s Bone, and starred in two blockbuster franchises. She was nude and blue as Mystique in X-Men: First Class, and in The Hunger Games she played Katniss Everdeen, the ultimate heroine for a dystopic age. In November, she stars in Silver Linings Playbook, a romantic comedy about emotionally damaged people.

You play a rather crazy widow in Silver Linings. Technically, you are too young to play that character. Did you have to audition?
I did. But I didn’t mind. People always worry that I’m wrong for the part: I’m usually too young—or, in the case of Katniss, they thought I was too old. I was blonde, and Katniss is brunette. So many problems. There were a lot of things that we just brushed under the rug.

X-Men: First Class sequel gets a title

Jennifer’s movie X Men: First Class is rumored to have a sequel. In X Men: First Class Jennifer played Raven Darkholme/Mystique, the mutant who could change into anyone. Jennifer starred along side Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Lucas Till and is set to return to the new movie.

Shortly after Marvel Studios announced the official titles for the sequels to “Thor” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”, it is now rumored that the “X-Men: First Class” sequel also gets its own official title. It is said that the upcoming mutant heroes film will be called “X-Men: Days of Future Past”.

The report first emerged via Russian site Film Business Today. However, it was not explained as to why the upcoming sequel was named “Days of Future Past”. 20th Century Fox, which develops the franchise, also hasn’t confirmed the validity of the new title rumor.

Details of the “X-Men: First Class” sequel are still kept secret. Matthew Vaughn has been tapped to tackle the directing duty, with the scriptwritten by Simon Kinberg, who also wrote “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “First Class”.

The production is set to begin in January 2013 after its leading actressJennifer Lawrence, who plays Mystique, finished the filming of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”. The sequel has been slated for a July 18, 2014 U.S. release.

New York Magazine: Jennifer is the 16th most valuable star!

The New York Magazine has done an article on the top 100 most valuable stars and Jennifer got a brilliant 16th place!

Jennifer Lawrence introduced herself to critics and indie audiences when she won an Oscar nomination for her role in the acclaimed 2010 drama Winter’s Bone, but it took the rest of America a little longer to learn her name: That red Calvin Klein dress she wore to the Oscars helped a little, and then getting cast as Katniss Everdeen in the massively popular Hunger Games franchise did the rest. The first movie in the series grossed half a billion worldwide and cemented Lawrence’s ability to anchor both popcorn flicks and art house fare (and to imbue each with her strengths in the other), a dual talent that results in a high overall studio value….he’s also got a great likeability score, thanks to both her sex appeal and her chilled-out custodial duties as the head of the Hunger Games franchise. With a slew of high-profile roles, including sequels to both the X-Men and Hunger Games franchises in Lawrence’s near future, the odds will almost certainly be forever in her favor.
